The state-run Goa Medical College and Hospital’s Dean Dr Shivanand Bandekar advised PTI that a crew of docs is monitoring the chief minister’s fitness condition.
“The chief minister is asymptomatic and would be suggested health center admission, if required,” he said.
“People of Goa are hereby knowledgeable that all normal operations of CMO shall proceed un-hindered. It may additionally be referred to that all the appointments and meetings scheduled stand suspended until in addition notice,” the CMO said.
State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane wished Mr. Sawant a fast recovery.
