Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath has made a strategic investment in One Hand Clap Media, a rising creative agency founded by former AIB creative heads Aakash Shah and Naveed Manakkodan. While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, the move marks Kamath’s growing interest in the creative and digital storytelling space.
One Hand Clap Media has quickly carved a niche in digital-first storytelling, specializing in ad films, creative campaigns, and digital mandate management. The agency boasts an impressive client roster that includes Swiggy, Chetak, BGMI, Netflix India, Bumble, EMotorad, CRED, Ather, and Prime Video India.
Commenting on the investment, Aakash Shah, Co-founder of One Hand Clap Media, said:
“Nikhil gets our DNA, and our visions align. We both never cared for the status quo; we have always aimed to disrupt it, defy the metrics and algorithms to tell stories, not just campaigns for our clients.”
Founded by storytellers rooted in satire, culture, and digital content, One Hand Clap Media is on a mission to challenge traditional agency models. With a focus on speed, creativity, and narrative-driven content, the agency aims to redefine how brands connect with their audiences across modern digital platforms.
This investment is expected to further empower the agency’s growth, innovation, and ability to deliver disruptive creative solutions in an ever-evolving media landscape.
