- B2B logistics tech platform Oorjaa has raised Rs 5.35 crore in its pre-Series A 2 round from Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), Vinners Platform, Soonicorn Ventures and HEM Angels.
- The proceeds will be used to ramp up the PiE KART platform, advancing technology, and expanding the team, OORJAA said in a press release.
- Founded by Sandeep Patil, Prashant Mohite and Yogesh Parab, Oorjaa offers technology-driven logistics solutions with transformative technology solutions on auto-routing, network optimization, data analytics, trip management and highly efficient operating processes.
- Its B2B clientele includes some of the most well-known large e-commerce, food-tech & e-groceries companies such as Flipkart Wholesale, Jio Mart, Udaan, Zomato Hyperpure, BigBasket amongst others.
- The Bengaluru-based firm recently launched an app-based product PiE KART which offers affordable and eco-friendly intra-city delivery solutions by employing shared trucks for same-day delivery, catering specifically to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
- Since its launch in November 2019, Oorjaa has expanded to over 15 cities, over 30 Hub locations, conducting more than 4000 orders per day with 200 Vehicles (inclusive of EV Cargo Vehicles, promoting sustainability).
- In March last year, Oorjaa had raised around Rs 9 crore or $1.1 Mn in its pre-Series A round led by Inflection Point Ventures.
