Naptapgo Pod Hotel Startup Raises Pre-Seed Funding Led by Inflection Point Ventures

Pod hotel startup Naptapgo has raised Rs 2 crore ($233K) in its pre-seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).

The proceeds will be used to expand franchise development, marketing, and technology integration, enabling Naptapgo to scale across urban and religious hubs.

Founded by Nitin Malhotra and Himanshu Shukla, the startup offers affordable, compact accommodations targeting budget-conscious travelers. Its unique model includes flexible check-ins, hourly stays, and AI-powered operational efficiency. The company claims to have achieved 65% direct bookings through its website and WhatsApp channel.

Currently operating in NCR, Naptapgo plans to expand to Gurugram, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Katra, and Amritsar with a goal of 20 properties by FY27.

Nitin Malhotra, previously with Texas Instruments and ST Microelectronics, and Himanshu Shukla, formerly with Chaayos and Jaypee Resorts, bring deep expertise in tech and hospitality to Naptapgo.

Naptapgo recently received strategic backing from Balmer Lawrie and an endorsement from Anand Mahindra for its innovative approach to affordable hospitality.
