Klassroom Edutech, an AH Portfolio startup and the world’s first AI-powered “Education OTT Platform,” has successfully secured growth capital in its latest funding round. The round was led by AH Ventures, with participation from LetsVenture, Hem Securities, Meteor Ventures, and Growth Sense Fund. To date, AH Ventures has made 250 investments across 140 startups, with a total portfolio value of INR 466 crore (~58 million USD), including 17 exits and 57 follow-on rounds. In 2024 alone, 51 investments were facilitated through its three platforms and fund.

Founded by fampreneurs Mrs. Alka Javeri, Mr. Dhruv Javeri, and Mr. Dhumil Javeri, Klassroom Edutech is redefining education through its AI-driven Education OTT platform and a network of 200+ offline learning centers. The platform has served over 500,000 students across 600 cities, providing a blend of innovative technology and traditional learning methods.

Bollywood actor and entrepreneur Suniel Shetty, who invested in Klassroom in 2023, continues to support the company’s vision of making education accessible and affordable for all. Klassroom’s profitability reflects its strong business model and positions it as a potential candidate for a public offering in the near future.

Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the vision of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Klassroom offers diverse learning experiences to students. Its OTT app has attracted over 50,000 subscribers in its first year, underscoring its rapid market adoption. The app provides a comprehensive learning ecosystem that includes academic content, skill-based industry training, career courses, language learning, and more.

Klassroom’s robust growth has delivered a 7X wealth increase to its investors in just three years, with a projected 3X year-on-year growth. The company’s revenues continue to rise, supported by strategic government partnerships and scalable implementation projects. A recent MOU with the Government of Rajasthan aims to deliver skill development courses to 3 lakh students and 3,000 schools, further solidifying Klassroom’s commitment to empowering learners and preparing them for industry demands.

Amit Kumar, Senior Partner at AH Ventures and Founding Partner of AH Ventures Fund, commented on the investment: “We are immensely proud of Klassroom’s achievements and delighted to have been part of their journey from the early stages. Education has always been a sector we believe in and support. We’re excited for the milestones Klassroom is on track to achieve.”

Alka Javeri, Co-founder of Klassroom Edutech, stated: “This funding reinforces the trust our investors place in our mission to make quality education accessible to all. By integrating technology with content aligned to NEP 2020, we are providing students with holistic and impactful learning experiences.”

The global e-learning market, valued at $250 billion in 2020, is projected to reach $1 trillion by 2027. Klassroom’s vision aligns with this trend, emphasizing that “AI will revolutionize education with OTT and impact millions of students.”

Klassroom Edutech’s contributions to education have been recognized by the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Honourable President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu. These prestigious interactions have strengthened the company’s resolve to transform education in India and beyond, ensuring accessible and high-quality education for all.
