RAS Luxury Skincare Raises $5 Million in Series A Round Luxury skincare and personal care brand RAS has raised $5 million in its Series A funding round led by Unilever Ventures, with participation from the Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund.

In April 2023, RAS secured $1.5 million in a pre-Series A round from Green Frontier Capital, a venture capital firm focusing on climate change and sustainability.

The fresh funding will fuel RAS’s retail expansion, including exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) and shop-in-shop models. The company also plans to invest in talent acquisition, R&D for new product lines, branding, marketing, and technology upgrades.

RAS’s existing investors, including Sixth Sense Ventures and notable angel investors like Keki Mistry’s Family, joined this funding round.

Founded by Shubhika Jain, Sangeeta Jain, and Suramya Jain, RAS crafts beauty and skincare products using natural ingredients and scientifically backed formulations. The products are developed in the startup’s vertically integrated research facility and farms in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

Currently operating two EBOs, RAS aims to establish 50 more across India over the next three years. With this expansion, the company expects 25% of its revenue to come from offline channels within four years, alongside growth in the HORECA segment.
