He found early success and high returns when he started investing in 2014 in listed equities. From there on he has added start-ups and occasionally commodities like gold to his portfolio along with opportunistic investments in several alternative asset classes.

Siddharth has been vegan since 2010 for the animals, his health and the environment. He is a proud advocate of veganism with love for avocado, hummus, falafel, thai curry, rajma and vegan cakes for dessert.

He has also taken a keen interest in investing where his heart lies, he has invested in a cruelty-free cosmetics brand, Arata and GoodMylk – a start-up producing plant-based foods and beverages. Some of the vegan and vegan-friendly brands he has an affinity for are Stella McCartney, The Body Shop, Tesla, Nike (Air Jordan), and Pangaia. If asked for book recommendations, he suggests Poor Charlie’s Almanack by Charlie Munger, Fooled by Randomness by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, The Dhandho Investor by Mohnish Pabrai, Zero to One by Peter Thiel, and How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie.

When it comes to travel, he likes to splurge on premium airlines, exotic hotels and global cities. He is well travelled through the US, Europe, Africa, and most Asian countries too.

He believes there is wisdom in traveling and enjoys city life more than the countryside. When abroad, some of his ideal vegan dining spots are By Chloe (US and UK), Broccoli Revolution (Bangkok), Blossom (NYC), Mildreds (London), and Indochine (San Francisco).

His day starts by reading up on markets and research, reads at least three to five hours a day and unwinds with meditation and mindful walking accompanied with some soothing music.
