New Delhi: Robotics and automation firm Addverb, backed by Reliance Group, expects to close the current financial year with revenues of ₹800 crore, as it accelerates investments in advanced robotics and artificial intelligence.
The company estimates that the inclusion of humanoid robots in its product portfolio will help drive a 20 per cent increase in revenue in the next financial year, reflecting growing demand for intelligent automation across industrial sectors.
On Thursday, Addverb unveiled Elixis-W, a Made-in-India wheeled humanoid robot, at an industry exhibition. The robot has been designed for industrial use, with a focus on enabling autonomous operations in dynamic and unstructured environments.
Confirming the outlook, Sangeet Kumar, co-founder and chief executive officer of Addverb, said the company remains confident of meeting its revenue target for the current fiscal year.
“Next financial year, we are looking at a 20 per cent increase in revenue with respect to the inclusion of wheeled humanoids,” Kumar told Press Trust of India.
According to the company, Elixis-W represents a shift beyond conventional automation systems, allowing robots to operate autonomously while collaborating safely with human workers across complex shopfloor operations. Unlike fixed robotic arms or automated guided vehicles, the wheeled humanoid is designed for greater flexibility and mobility.
Addverb said the robot is powered by Physical AI and built with industrial-grade reliability, enabling deployment across manufacturing units, warehouses and logistics facilities. The company believes such systems can help improve productivity, enhance workplace safety and address workforce constraints.
“Built with Physical AI and industrial-grade reliability, this wheeled humanoid embodies our vision of practical and scalable automation that enhances safety, productivity and collaboration on the shopfloor,” Kumar said.
The launch comes amid rising adoption of automation and robotics in India’s manufacturing and logistics sectors, driven by efficiency pressures and global supply-chain realignments. With humanoid robotics now part of its portfolio, Addverb aims to strengthen its position in the fast-evolving industrial automation market, both domestically and overseas.
