Ticket 9, an event tech startup based in Coimbatore, has successfully raised $120K in a pre-seed funding round. The funding was co-led by Prabhu Rangarajan, Vijay Pravin Maharajan, Ashok Vardharajan, Sundararaman Ramasamy, Mohan K, JaiKumar, and other angel investors from the US, Singapore, Australia, and Bangkok.
According to a press release by Ticket 9, the funds will be utilized to bolster product development, enhance the technology stack, expand the team, and facilitate market expansion.
Co-founded by Yazhini Shanmugam and Santhos Premraj, Ticket 9 specializes in event tech solutions and is focused on building SaaS products. Their suite of tools offers a comprehensive range of features for creating, managing, promoting, and monetizing events of all kinds and sizes. The platform aims to simplify event management for organizers, driving revenue growth, while also enabling event enthusiasts to discover personalized events in their vicinity.
