XpressBees Appoints Mohit Sardana as CEO of B2C Vertical

E-commerce logistics major XpressBees has named Mohit Sardana as the Chief Executive Officer of its B2C vertical, a move aimed at strengthening its consumer-facing business and scaling delivery operations.

In this leadership role, Sardana will spearhead XpressBees’ business-to-consumer division, focusing on building efficient, technology-driven logistics solutions and delivering a superior customer experience in India’s fast-growing e-commerce sector.

With over 20 years of expertise in strategy, operations, and digital transformation, Sardana brings a wealth of experience to the table. Prior to this appointment, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Zomato’s food delivery arm and played a key role in Blinkit Commerce. His career also includes senior leadership positions at MakeMyTrip and Accenture, where he contributed to scaling businesses and improving operational efficiency.

Commenting on the appointment, Amitava Saha, MD & CEO of XpressBees, highlighted that Sardana’s proven track record in scaling consumer businesses and driving digital-first growth will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s B2C footprint.

Founded in 2015, XpressBees has emerged as one of India’s leading logistics players, offering end-to-end solutions across e-commerce, B2B, 3PL, and cross-border services. The company is backed by marquee investors including Blackstone, TPG, and Alibaba.

This appointment follows XpressBees’ recent expansion moves, including the acquisition of courier company Trackon in July 2023, and the appointment of Uday R. Sharma as CBO for B2B, 3PL, and cross-border operations.
