Snabbit, which offers on-demand home services, has secured $19 million in a funding round led by Lightspeed. The round also saw participation from existing investors Elevation Capital and Nexus Venture Partners.
The fresh capital infusion comes just four months after Snabbit’s $5.5 million Series A round. The Mumbai-based startup is now the second company, after Slikk, to close two funding rounds in 2025. Notably, Lightspeed and Nexus Venture Partners are common investors in both companies.
Snabbit currently operates in 10 micro-markets and with the fresh funding it aims to expand into more than 200 micro-markets over the next nine months. The company also intends to make significant investments in team building to drive and support this aggressive growth strategy.
Founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, Snabbit connects households with trained experts for on-demand home tasks. Professionals can be booked by the hour and arrive within 10 minutes to handle tasks like cleaning, dishwashing, and laundry.
Agarwal previously served as chief of staff at quick commerce platform Zepto.
According to Agarwal, Snabbit currently has over 600 professionals on its platform, with the number doubling month over month. He also noted that professionals using the platform can earn significantly more compared to traditional offline avenues.
While IPO-bound Urban Company has long dominated the category with little direct competition, the on-demand home services space is now seeing increased activity with the entry and funding of new players. For instance, Pronto—a similar startup—recently raised $2 million from Bain Capital and is reportedly in discussions for another funding round.
