GrowthPal Bags $2.6 Mn Backing as Ideaspring Capital Leads Round

GrowthPal, a technology platform focused on supporting mergers and acquisitions teams, has raised $2.6 million in a funding round led by Ideaspring Capital, with participation from global angel investors.

The company said the funding will be used to further develop its product capabilities and expand its footprint across international markets.

Founded by Maneesh Bhandari, Shalu Mitruka, and Amaresh Shirsat, GrowthPal is positioned as an M&A copilot for corporate development teams. The platform helps buyers identify acquisition targets including off-market companies and move more efficiently from strategic intent to active deal conversations.

GrowthPal translates a buyer’s acquisition mandate into a structured thesis and analyzes a broad set of signals such as hiring activity, funding history, regulatory filings, and online presence across millions of companies. It then generates a shortlist of potential targets that align closely with the mandate, including businesses not publicly seeking a sale.

The company reports that its platform has supported more than 42 completed M&A transactions and enabled over 210 discussions at the letter-of-intent stage. These transactions span markets in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

GrowthPal’s customers include large enterprises, mid-market companies, startups, and private equity-backed firms across sectors such as IT services, SaaS, fintech, and other software-led industries.
